Del Mar Photonics

Del Mar Photonics and Quartus collaborate on optical system design and fabrication.

Del Mar Photonics established collaboration with Quartus team to offer full service in opto-mechanical design and fabrication. Quartus Engineering Incorporated has designed opto-mechanical systems required to meet tight optical spacing, tip/tilt, and centration requirements achieving system boresight and beam/image quality specifications. Active systems are designed to incorporate the focus, pointing, etc. adjustments at the resolution and accuracy required of the deployed system. By performing detailed structural and thermal analyses Quartus verifies mechanical integrity and system performance under aggressive environmental conditions, including high g-loading conditions, severe vibration amplitudes, and extreme temperature variations typical of military aerospace platforms. Quartus' staff has performed optical system mechanical design, packaging, and mounting of numerous airborne and space based military laser and sensor packages, including directed energy weapons, laser rangefinder/designator/illuminator systems, laser communications, and high resolution surveillance systems. Send us you opto-mechanical design and fabrication requirements today.

Existing customers include General Atomics, SAIC, CSA, Lockheed Martin, Recon Optical, Raytheon, Boeing, BAE Systems, Air Force Research institute, Naval Surface Warfare Center SPAWAR, Naval Research Lab,  U.S. Army Research Lab, AFIT and many others.
